Privacy

We collect what we need to quote your job, turn up at the right house, and take payment. Optional advertising measurement is described below and requires your affirmative choice.

Your name, email address, phone number and the address of the property. What you told us about the job — service, home size, condition, add-ons and any notes.

The photos you upload. Payment records: what was charged, when, and whether it cleared. We never see or store your card number.

Body camera footage from your clean, unless you asked us not to record.

Photos are stored privately and used only to price and plan your job. They are not published, not put in a gallery, and not shown to anyone outside the business without you saying yes first.

Location data and other hidden information is stripped from every photo when you upload it. We do not keep it, and we could not recover it if we wanted to.

Crecy wears a body camera while working. It records video only — no sound is recorded at any time.

The footage is used to check our own work and to settle any question about what happened during a clean. It is never published, never used in advertising, and never shared outside the business unless you ask us to or the law requires it.

The camera is switched off before entering a bathroom, and before entering a bedroom while anyone is home.

Footage is kept no longer than we need it to check our work, and then deleted.

If you would rather we did not record at your home, tell us — when you book, in the notes, or at the door — and we will not. It changes nothing else about your booking, and it does not change your price.

Our payment processor, Stripe, to take payment and issue refunds. Our email provider, to send you quotes, confirmations and receipts. Our hosting and database provider, which stores the data on our behalf.

Our hosting provider's site analytics counts visits and confirmed quote requests. The quote-request event contains no name, contact details, property address, quote reference or price.

Only if you allow advertising measurement, the Meta Pixel measures visits and completed quote requests on our marketing and quote pages. Meta may receive your page URL (including a preselected public service category), browser and device information and set advertising cookies. We do not send your detailed quote answers, photos, address, contact details or price as event parameters. Meta may use this information for ad measurement and personalized advertising under its own privacy policy. No Meta Pixel script loads before your affirmative choice. You can change your choice using Advertising privacy choices on the site; refusing does not prevent a quote request. We honor browser Global Privacy Control signals as an opt-out even if a previous site choice allowed measurement.

We do not sell customer quote records or share submitted photos or contact details with advertising platforms.

Body camera footage: no longer than we need it to check our work, then deleted.

Photos: until the job is finished and paid, and for a while after in case a question comes up about the work, then deleted.

Quotes, bookings and payment records: as long as tax and accounting rules require us to, and no longer.

Ask us what we hold about you, and we will tell you. Ask us to correct something wrong, and we will.

Ask us to delete what we hold, and we will — except records we are required to keep for tax purposes, which we will name for you rather than quietly retain.

Ask us not to record you, at any time, and we will not.
