Tell us about the job

Bedrooms, living rooms and dens. Hallways and closets come with the room they open off.

Stairs are priced separately because they take about as long as a small room.

Urine soaks into the pad under the carpet. Surface extraction lifts the stain and the smell comes back, so this needs a different treatment and its own price.

We don't take mould work. If there's water damage, it needs a remediation company before anybody cleans.

Wool shrinks and browns under hot-water extraction. If you're not sure, say so — we'd rather look than guess.

A great room or an open-plan floor is more carpet than a room count describes.

We move what two people can lift safely. Beds, wardrobes and pianos are a separate conversation.
